He did not bring weapons.
He brought a stone.
In a small village near the mountains, people lived peacefully.
One year, heavy rains caused a huge landslide.
A giant rock blocked the only river that supplied water to the village.
Slowly, the river dried up.
Crops failed.
Animals became weak.
Children cried from thirst.
The villagers tried everything.
They pushed the rock.
They pulled it with ropes.
They even tried breaking it.
Nothing worked.
Fear spread.
One day, an old wise man arrived in the village.
He listened quietly.
Then he picked up a small stone.
“Follow me,” he said.
The villagers laughed.
“What can a small stone do?” they whispered.
The old man walked to the blocked river.
He carefully placed the small stone under the big rock.
Then he poured water on it.
Slowly, the small stone shifted.
The big rock moved slightly.
Again, he poured water.
Again, the stone rolled.
Crack.
The huge rock suddenly broke into two pieces.
Water rushed through the river.
The village was saved.
The people stood in shock.
“How did a small stone do what we couldn’t?” they asked.
The old man smiled.
“Strength is not always the answer,” he said.
“Wisdom knows where to apply pressure.”
