The city of Ayodhya was filled with noise that morning.
People gathered near the temple to perform great acts of charity.
Some donated gold.
Some offered expensive clothes.
Others announced their good deeds loudly, hoping everyone would notice.
In the middle of all this stood Lord Rama, watching quietly.

The wealthy donors lowered their eyes.

That day, the people of Ayodhya learned an important truth:
