A Fun Motivational Story About Persistence
He failed again.
And again.
And again.
In a small city
lived a boy named Rohit.
He was nineteen years old.
And he had one dream:
“I want to get my driving license.”
Rohit failed his driving test
the first time.
He hit a cone.
The officer said:
“Try again.”
Second time…
He forgot the indicator.
Fail.
Third time…
He pressed the brake too hard.
Fail.
Fourth time…
He parked badly.
Fail.
Rohit came home angry.
“I am useless,”
he said.
“I will never pass.”
His father smiled.
And said:
“Good.”
Rohit looked shocked.
“Good?” he asked.
“Yes,” his father said.
“Now you know
four wrong ways to drive.”
Rohit laughed.
He started practicing daily.
Early morning.
Empty roads.
He learned slowly.
He failed less.
Fifth test day came.
Rohit was nervous.
His hands were shaking.
The officer said:
“Start.”
Rohit drove slowly.
Carefully.
He used indicators.
He parked perfectly.
The officer smiled.
And stamped his form.
“Pass.”
Rohit jumped.
He shouted:
“I did it!”
Outside the office,
he called his father.
“I passed!” he said.
His father replied:
“I knew it.”
“You only fail
when you stop trying.”
That evening…
Rohit drove his father
for the first time.
Very slowly.
His father laughed.
And said:
“Slow driver is better
than no driver.”
Rohit smiled.
🌟 MORAL
Failure is not the opposite of success.
It is part of success.
Keep trying. You are closer than you think.
